Terms of Contract

  1. The consignor states that they own the merchandise (items) free of any liens and has the full rights to sell or otherwise dispose of them.  In accordance with this agreement, the consignor grants the consignee an exclusive right to sell the item(s) on eBay®, the online auction website with the following terms:
  2. Acceptance of any item for consignment will be at Riverside Consign’s sole discretion.
  3. Riverside Consign will start the auction(s) and handle all aspects of the sale including correspondence with bidders, accepting payments, and mailing of the item.
  4. Items must be picked up after 1 week of the consignment end date.  Riverside Consign will not contact you at the time of contract expiration
  5. Items not picked up 1 week after the consignment period automatically converts to the property of Riverside Consign.
  6. Payment for items sold will be available for pick-up on the 10th day of each month for items sold the previous month and includes an itemized account of your sales. Checks are void and are not re-issued if not cashed within 6 months of date of issue.
  7. Riverside Consign cannot guarantee that the consignor’s items will sell.
  8. Riverside Consign is not responsible for loss, including but not limited to:  breakage, fire, natural disaster or theft, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  9. Fee’s and Commissions

a.       All fee’s and commissions are per auction lot based on the service level chosen.

                                                               i.      Basic Service

1.       No up front fee

2.       99 cent starting price

3.       7 day auction

4.       Enough pictures to adequately show the item

5.       Not to exceed a 5 (five) item lot per calendar week

                                                              ii.      Premier Service

1.       $10.00 up front fee per auction lot (maximum of 5 items per lot).  This fee is non-refundable if the auction lot does not sell

2.       Consignor may set the start price of the auction lot

3.       Gallery picture

4.       Unlimited pictures

5.       Consignor may set a buy-it-now price (optional fee applies)

6.       10 day auction (optional fee applies)

b.       Riverside Consign commission on the final sale price of each auction lot (item)

                                                               i.      35% commission on the first $200

                                                              ii.      30% commission on the next $201 - $500 in sales

                                                            iii.      25% commission on $501 on up in sales

  1. Consignors can track their sales by logging in to www.riversideconsign.com and following links to the “riversideconsign” eBay sellers web page.
