Terms of Contract

 

  1. Riverside Consign charges a 45% consignment fee (consignors receive 55% of the selling price).
  2. Items will be on consignment for four months (120 days).  Riverside Consign offers the following scheduled discount policy: 

·         Original price 0-60 days, 20% discount 61-90 days, 50% discount 91-120 days

Items must be picked up after 1 week of the consignment end date.  Riverside Consign will not contact you at the time of contract expiration.  Consignors are responsible for locating unsold items in the store.  We will assist you to prevent damage to other items. 

  1. Items not picked up (1 week after the 120 day consignment period) automatically converts to the property of Riverside Consign.
  2. Payment for items sold will be available for pick-up on the 10th day of each month for items sold the previous month and includes an itemized account of your sales.   However if you call for your balance and request a check, payment will be made within 48 hours of your request.  Checks are void and are not reissued if not cashed within 6 months of date of issue.
  3. Consignors may set their own prices however Riverside Consign reserves the right to determine the final price.
  4. We reserve the right to reduce prices due to special promotions, coupons, slow movement, seasonal sales, or reduction due to damage without any notification to the consignor.
  5. Riverside Consign is not responsible for loss, including but not limited to:  breakage, fire, natural disaster or theft, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  6. An eight dollar ($8.00) consignment fee will be charged to your account annually.
  7. Consignors can track their sales by logging in to www.riversideconsign.com/sales
